This is the website for the Maidenhead and East Berkshire branch of the RSPCA. If you want to know what your local animal charity is up to, then you have come to the right place. You can find details of forthcoming events, news related to our activities and listings for the animals we are currently rehoming.

The RSPCA is the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Each branch is an an independent charity and we raise funds and work for the rehoming of dogs and cats in our area. We are funded entirely by donations.

Last chance to hit our target

Our fundraising page closes on May 21st and we are still more than £300 short of our target.

Derek Wilkins, our local RSPCA Inspector completed the London Marathon in 5 hours and 41 minutes, with the money raised helping to fund the care and rehoming of animals in the local branch. Many thanks to you all for your generosity and although Derek has done the hard work we still need your help to reach our target!

Volunteers

Our Branch is run entirely by volunteers, so if you'd like to join us, please send an email to volunteer@maidenheadrspca.net and we can tell you more about what we do.

Foster homes

Would you like to offer a temporary home to one of our animals? Sometimes we have cats or dogs who've had medical treatment and need that extra little bit of TLC. In other cases we have animals who have been in the kennels for a long time and it's nice for them to spend some time being fussed over and loved! Foster Carers will not incur vets bills, please call us on 07852 481079 for further information.

You can shop online at thousands of retailers and we get a donation every time you buy. Stores like Amazon, John Lewis, Tesco, Asda, Comet, BT, Vodaphone, *draws a breath* Marks and Spencer, Sainsbury, Apple, Thomas Cook, Dell, B&Q, Sky - you get the idea!

So it doesn't matter if it's your weekly shop or a special present, you can order online via Give as you Live, pay the same price as normal and donate to your favourite charity.

You can also raise funds for our branch by searching the Internet with Everyclick.

Sign in and select RSPCA Maidenhead and East Berkshire as your charity. The search engine is powered by Yahoo. A small amount will be donated to us for every search made. If you do not want your name displayed on the Everyclick site you can log in as “Anonymous”.
