Update from Minnie and Ronnie!
Happily settled and enjoying life!
Hello Tracey,
I hope you are well!
Many thanks for your advice when Ronnie took ill. I'm pleased to say he has responded very well to treatment. He has a new lease of life in fact! He is a bundle of energy, like a kitten. He is incredibly affectionate and playful. Ronnie is so funny he has me crying with laughter sometimes. The vet has fallen in love with him. He was purring so loudly at his last check up the vet couldn't listen to his chest! His shaven fur has grown back, it's still a little thin on his neck, but at least he can sit on the chilly kitchen floor now quite comfortably! He hated his SD prescription food, but I'm relieved to see he likes his new CD food much better. He still needs his daily cystease tablet which he is very good at taking.
Minnie is much happier. She has become more extrovert and will play now, and the weight appears to be coming off. She still likes to mother Ronnie and boss him around. She can't jump very high, but she is definitely more active, and enjoys a lot of fuss and attention.
I've treated them to some lovely toys, but they absolutely love shoe boxes, nail files, tin foil balls and chasing shoe laces!
Best wishes,
Victoria Billany
