I thought I would give you an update on Abbie (formerly Poppy) who we adopted in November 2008. Abbi's story was particularly tragic as she was found on the streets with her six kittens - none survived.

 

When we first brought her home she was very timid and cried at night because she was scared. However, with a lot of love and patience she's now a completely transformed cat. She's so loving and always wants to sit on your lap and have cuddles, and runs to meet you at the front door when you come home. She's recently taken to 'holding hands' which is incredibly cute! She has to be the centre of attention at all times and will headbutt you if you ignore her!

 

We recently bought a house and Abbi adores her new home - she even has her own room! She loves sitting out in the garden or stretching out in the conservatory to soak up the heat.

 

She seems really happy with us and we love having her in our family.
